I dont think the size matters. They are hard to come by, and the difference between 6" and 18" is only a few weeks. A baby paima is a baby paima, so you should get a decent price at any size.

OP sorry to derail. good luck with your PIMA GIGA!!!!!!
BYE!!!!

OP, I was talking to the guy that posted "BOWFIN". The nerve of that guy.

Anyway....nice pima.

yes, if you will actually get a tank of that size.
I'm not sure if you realize how much a tank like that will cost you, but if you do eventually get one, it will work for a couple more months after it outgrows your other tanks.

EDIT: price depends on size most of the time here in cali. for a four incher, you can expect to pay around 40-60 bucks,. as they get larger, they get more expensive.

so I could keep it and sell it in a little while right, I dont really care as much about the profit as long as I could keep it for a little bit

haha I do trust me, and if I dont feed it as much could I slow it down a little more?

they are kind of like RTC the bigger they are the less people want them because they get to big to house.

haha you do tho

wow, you want to stunt the growth of your own fish just so you can house it for a few months?
you might as well just get rid of it because as stevenrox says, the demand for them as they get larger decreases.

Not stunt it just slow down the speed a bit instead of say feeding it every day I would feed it every other day, I didnt think that would stunt a fish tho
