I dont think the size matters. They are hard to come by, and the difference between 6" and 18" is only a few weeks. A baby paima is a baby paima, so you should get a decent price at any size.

I'm not sure if you realize how much a tank like that will cost you, but if you do eventually get one, it will work for a couple more months to a year after it outgrows your other tanks.
EDIT: price depends on size most of the time her in cali. for a four incher, you can expect to pay around 40-60 bucks,. as they get larger, they get more expensive.
