  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yea...gonna move to another driftwood or ceramic cave and try again. The polys are sandwiching all of them in with the cat. Will see.

In my two tries with Trachy trachies, I didn't have any problems with them feeding / starting to feed. All I offer are cheap pellets and thawed fish and they took one or the other or both on their own schedule, which was not excessively worrying.

I've literally have not made any special effort, just routine.

I'll start to worry about mine after 2-3 weeks only cause she is fairly skinny.

Still no go on food but came in pretty plump. Much larger than expected.

Not too worried. Just gotta wait it out. I'm sure it's still a little stressed from the poly pile up lol.

Yea a whole 1.5" bigger for me lol, which I don't mind at all since because of this I was able to add it to the 120 straight away. And didn't try to feed tonight because I did a water change, will likely try tomorrow. Not worried yet as well. Someone showed my girl some aggression apparently so wouldn't doubt if it takes her time to accustom. She opens her mouth like she's gointo bite a lot, did it to the siphon today when it got close to her lol she's got a big mouth for sure, it's kind of cute how she does it, will see if she does it next wc and record it or get picture.

Mine open mouths at each other :) Cute indeed, no violence or damage, just saying "Don't even think about it..."

I must correct my prior statement. I've made some special effort. The first Trachy I tried was hiding in a vase too much so I started dropping thawed fish right in there. A commotion and the vase shaking ensued and the fish was quickly gone.

Took a silverside in the ceramic log. Had to throw it in its face literally. Still no pics. Tried to take it out yesterday but spread it fins and wedged itself in smh!

Still MIA but has become the official hobbit of my aquarium shire.

Who do you see more, trachy or jag? I see my jag much more lol. And my jag eats a lot more greedily as of now. That may be my fault though cause I put the food in a certain spot separate from where I feed everyone else for the trachy where the other fish don't really go, sometimes the lap slips in and takes some but other than that she takes her time eating. Caught a little video of her eating with the lights on the other day. Their mouths are really huge lol.
