$79 for a 55G is pretty good IMO as I bought a 55G at wal-mart a few years ago with a cheap-o stand and AC110 for $120.
For Hawaii guy I think it is probably because glass is more expensive there because they have to import the glass and or pre-assembled tanks from the "mainland" Thus increasing the overall prices. Also in hawaii you can probably just catch half the reef species in you back yard. Therefore the only way to make money is jack up tank prices.

Apparently you can get the 20 longs this year as well as a friend of mine picked up some in Iowa. The sale goes from Today until the 30th I believe. Just look at the local sales ad on their site.
there should be no interpretation by the managers as the sale prices ring on the computer with the "pals" card and the same flyers are sent to all the stores. im not gonan lie, i work for them and im not impressed but the company itself.
