Thank you crazylegs, im just glad my female platinum never showed signs. Now im once again on the hunt for a mate for her. She was super depressed he died but is finally perked up.
 
Sorry it didn't turn out differently Becca. EBJD's can be delacate with regards to IPs. It's always best to treat for IP's in a QT tank as soon as you get them. After about a 3 wk QT they should be ready to into the general population.
 
When you do get another ebjd take extra percautions like quarintine him for a month, dont feed high protein foods, and do a extra water change each week but not too big...im looking for a bgjd for my ebjd which seems impossible...ima have to make my own
