really, you have nothing to say, so in a desperate attempt to save face and change the conversation (which you've clearly lost), you're going to call my age into question! as if my age has anything to do with the topic at hand. it's pathetic and dishonest to try to poison the argument with age prejudice... and you think i'm the one acting childish?
i don't need to ask other people how "i" feel because i'm the only one who can ever know how "i" feel. don't reflect your emotions onto me. if i was upset i'd be acting like you.
i have nothing to be upset about, i am entirely right and you are dead wrong. this clearly upsets you.
if you knew what it meant, you wouldn't have questioned the way i used it.
but since you
did question my usage, i have to assume that you didn't know what it meant.
i'm not trying to make you look stupid. if you look stupid it's because you made yourself look stupid! i had nothing to do with it.
i'm not here to boost my ego either, im trying to let it be known to all that my usage of the word "flashy" was correct. we wouldn't even be having this conversation if you never challenged me.
more empty, irrelevant, desperate and baseless insults? grow up dude.
it's almost
always, if not 100% of the time (except for when you use it), used in the way that i used it (with negative connotations).
i'm having a very hard time finding any dictionary definition of
flashy that doesn't include some form of negative connotation with the word! do you have any links to the contrary? because i provided several to make my case.
the way you're trying to use it is almost never done. and when it is used in your way, it seems like a bad use of the word because of the negative connotations that are almost always associated with the word.
now... you admit that you knew what the word means... and that the word is commonly (or even "sometimes") used with negative connotations...
so why would you even think to question it?
