Bluegill Diet Question

What do bluegill eat when they are first born...all the way to when they are dead.
i just got bluegills around 1" but they are not taking nightcrawlers.

They will take copods, amphipods, tubifex and blackworms, brine shrimp and baby guppies. Also probably mosquito larvae.

idk, mine is w/c but takes flakes and shrimp pellets no prob. lucky i guess.

mine spit out all prepared foods. They only eat live daphnia and they don't really go for live brine because they don't move like their natural foods.

I had a friend that used to buy his big bluegill red worms. not night crawlers but smaller red worms.

O.k. I'll go buy some brine shrimp or something..
I sprinkled pellets and flakes in the tank but they would eat and spit it out..

that is good eventually they will figure out that it is a food source and then eat it and not spit it out
