Bluegill Diet Question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My adult Bluegill would eat anything. Bloodworms, Krill, flakes, pellets, feeders, bugs.

thanks! do they preffer eating from the top or bottom?

i read something funny somewhere..that when feeding floating pellets to goldfish, make sure some sink so that the fish don't ingest too much air while eating..
why is that?

Hey will the tiny bluegill take frozen shrimp? the guppys swarm on it

Mine eat Hikari Cichlid Gold as there staple diet, with Aqueon Cichlid Sticks and Tetra Jumbomin Foodsticks changed in every now and then.
They also eat earthworms and some bugs that the kids catch.

thanks

Basically, they will eat almost anything. I've fed a few of mine boiled egg whites. Adults will bite bloodworm cubes. If you feel generous, cut off a finger at the first joint. A large bluegill will eat it.
