I'm not too good with iggy's myself but their care can get pretty much in depth. I'll just let others correct the habitat stuff but I think I can add some myself. For example, your salad is not exactly good. You'll need to do some reading for it. Some things to note though, feed varied but make sure you feed the right greens. Secondly, keep off lettuce. And lastly, for the environment, they need UVA,UVB and proper heat lamps.

Some of the vegetables in your salad there are not really appropriate. Use the MK salad from this site as a basic salad. www.anapsid.org. You can find the MK salad by going to the iguana section, and then the feeding category, and then look at the quick recipe of the MK salad. Also, Iguana's need UVA,UVB and proper heat lamps. Repti-sun UV bulbs will do well to provide the necessary UV.

Boas are Usually very easy to tame especially when you get a baby. I would say go for it. Mine was very personable and easy to handle. I would suggest getting a very large enclosure for them though. mine liked to soak so either provide it with a big water bowl or soak it in the tub on a regular (weekly) basis. Also, when they get big I found that it is better to feed it one big meal (such as small 2-3lbs rabbits) less often as opposed to smaller meals like rats more frequently.

uh oh.

iv been researching iggys for 8 years and STILL dont feel ready for one.
not the aggression...i can cope with that.
but the care. its hard work making sure they have everything, because if they r lacking in something then it will cost ALOT in vets bills and as stuff is illegal where u r then the animal will just die.

not a responsible thing to do.

ok folks i ll get the python only .. i am going to get it 2moro

and i want to make sure that it doesn't bit or squeeze things even if it is wild ?!!

what does " ttt " means :D

I guess its a local dialect in which tried to convince you of your upcoming failure.
:D
No I also say: Go for it.
But you have to reckon to get bit. I mean if you get yourself a kitten,
you know you'll have to clean up after any accidents.
If you get yourself any kind of snake, reckon the possibility to recieve a bite.
But 9 out of 10 its no harm. Only fast.:nilly:

ok but even if he is wild still 9 out of 10 ??

If you're asking these kind of questions I really dont think you have been doing your research for a year and a half and that you should really stop and think what you are doing. You are getting a snake and the first thing you are afraid of is getting bit.....honestly, you will get bit, pretty much everyone does....
