Well I wouldn't want that job (Dr. Phil), I dislike having to hear about other people's problems/ issues, though there really is no getting away from it most of the time, ahhh family gotta love em... right :) . Here's my personality question what are you going to stock that tank with?, I'll let you know what it's says about you after you answer :)

I went through alot of choices but I want to create an Amazon Biotope or as close as i can replicate. Cardinal Tetras , Discus , Banjo catfish , Bolivian Rams , Pepper cories ,and an undicided Plec species . ALOT of fishkeepers advised against this combo but I want to see if i can make this combo thrive and succeed:)

Oh and as far as hearing people's problems is concerned , I have my moods but I generally help out of curiousity. the outcomes educate me and I gain more experience. should I be in a similar situation , I'll have a real world reference that I helped solve. Wisdom without the burden, if you will.

What were their reasons against the combo? Banjo catfish are cool I've always wanted one, if pepper cories are anything like their panda cory cousins you'll be happy with them, I've had panda's in the past and they were always awesome active fish, like to be in pairs or groups. I'll be back with a full analysis later :) , but preliminary analysis says you like color and peacefulness (I could write fortunate cookies with that kind of ambiguity).

well the main thing was about the discus's frailty and difficulty of raising alone. main reason i picked them was because they were hard to raise. I wanna hit the ground running!! Oh and I forgot Diamond Tetras....

I've already planned on a second tank after getting a handle on this one for a while, if it's at all relevant.

I have my eyes set on raising Miniata Grouper.

THE Knife Man is amazing, about John Hunter, pretty much how surgery came about, later named a museum after him, they used to pay weirdos to dig up graves so they would have bodies to practice on,all true stuff amazing.

A Life In Surgery about Harvey Cushing,,,,,,,one of the first brain surgeons, amazing the stuff these guys went through to get where we are today.

The world without us,,,,,,,,,,,,about if humans sudenly vanished from earth but our pets and jobs and electricity and power plants, oil fields and so on were still up and running, how would it all come apart, and how long would it take, plant life and everything. Freakin great book.

The Lost City Of Z,,,,,,,,,,,,About an amazing journey by several groups but mainly P H Fawcett in search for the lost city in the amazon.

All very cool books that I think about all the time.Trust me they are good.THeir is another one I read recently I think called THe FamilyTHat Couldnt Sleep, about prions,a disease that has to do with protiens and it gets into mad cow and scrapie and such, very interesting but not well known so dont expect to talk about it with too many others unless you just wanta brag about something they dont know about. Good read though.

I like the fictional books by J.K. Rowling, Stephanie Meyer and Dan Brown.:)

Not a fan of salt water, but some fish do tempt me, grouper's in general are on that list

They all sound like books I would love. Ever read "The Life of a Corpse" good book about the different procedures and processes that you go through after your dead in modern day society.

I liked "World War Z", good read. Someone else also recommended "The Road" I'll have to make sure to try that one out. Is "The Mist" the book the recent movie was based on ?

I never read any of the Harry Potter or Twilight series and I hear people rave about them all the time, I should try them. Dan Brown is the DeVinci Code author right?
