well tanks been set up for 2 or 3 months.full of fish.last ones i picked up was one christmas fulu about 20 super red top hongi.and a buddy called last week with a big jack dempsy.all are doing good and getting along great. patch is holding.2 more months and hopefully all the snow will be gona at my dads.and ill be able to get there for sand and some wood.looking to start moving some fish around.theres a guy looking for a large pleco. gonna try help him out and make a little $

I know a guy that patched a 265 gal bottom but he said it depends on the size of the crack. It also never leaked.

im not gonna carry this tank out of my basment in one piece.so if the patch holds 3-5 yrs ill be good then im thinking an 8x8' outside corner tank.figure it'll be around 1200 gallons.thats after all our debt is paid and we can get a new house

well tanks been full of water for around 4 months.still holding.traded most of the fish that made it through the cycleing prosses in.for 3 large albino bushy nose plecostomous.that are in a 70 and moved my 6 lrg rbp to the 300.

tanks still holding water. No leaks. I have 9 rbp in there.all is well. Seems like its still cycling. But the rbp look like there starting some breeding behavior again

Man I hate to be a downer but there is no damn way in hell that I would patch a 300 and trust it. It's a perfect example of absolutely begging for trouble. I think your only option is to replace that bottom pane. 300 gallons of water is just too much weight on a patched tank, ESPECIALLY the bottom.

YUP, thats like going on a 4 hour trip with 1 lugnut on your wheel. At any given moment, BAM

Awesome set up though, YOU a brave man

i have a 5x2x2 it had a small crack in the botton i siliconed a large peice of glass over the crack then lined the bottom with pond liner and its fine
