i can't wait till spring is in full swing...then i can find them sitting on nets and get a ton of fry...they are picky at that size and we have lost a lot do to this...try black worms or newborn guppies...they are not as agressive as everyone thinks...they do have alot of personallity, and teeth...lol...i found that out after i lipped the first one i ever cought like you would a bass:duh: i learn that was a bad decition:nono:
 
This guy is making me a bit nervous... sits at the top of the tank a lot... hopefully it's just me overreacting... I would be torn if I lost this little guy.
He has already eaten some bloodworms. :nilly:
And pics. (VERY crappy pics, hard to get a shot of the guy, and he is in a 'blackwater' tank. Set it up a month ago)

lol, thanks. His tankmates are a few Cory fish, and will be for awhile until he gets bigger. Don't want to take the risk of him being eaten. ;)
 
I caught one about that size last year. Now it's 9". I'd say you're looking at 8"-11" after a year.
