The boy may have been hit by debris from the small crater left by the meteorite. At that speed I doubt he could tell that he got struck before the meteorite hit the ground. .

Yeah i agree a direct hit would have vapourised him at 30000mph which i doubt was the speed any way

This one time....at band camp....I was hit by a meteorite, and it was cool. End. :D

um, scientists didnt disprove the theory that he got hit.... but you guys are right. you keep fish so your word means more than someone who gets paid a ridiculous amount of money to be correct with what their talking about.

Scientists get paid a ridiculous amount of money?

BS, I don't buy it. It hits the boys hand, and sends him flying, leaving a huge hole in the ground, with a sound so loud his ears were ringing for hours, and he only has a 3" scar. Yeah ok!

i was hit by a meteorite also. it wasnt all that bad so the story is legit. i can confirm it.

Yeah, I'll say it's ridiculous. I worked for Lockheed once researching how to use fibre optics and luminescence from a laser pulse to measure the amount of gasoline in contaminated water wells about 15 years ago. I got paid $8/hr.
