BOY THIS MAKES ME MAD !!!!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that kid paid a mighty high idiot tax. too bad they killed the gators. when i was living down there a Guy high on crack decided to go for a swim he also lost an arm and had many bones broken. the poor gator was also killed.

That's just terrible. That kid should've lost a limb or body part for every gator they killed.

I saw the kid on the Today Show yesterday morning. I agree, he was definitely not using his head to swim in gator infested water, but he did manage to bring up one good point. It seems the gator population is growing rapidly as animal rights activists are buying all the hunting/trapping tags sold to keep the population under control. It seems that the gators are expanding their territory due to lack of population control. Now to blame your stupidity on the fact that there are too many gators is just ridiculous. It is creating problems for "non-stupid" residents as well, like the woman who came home to find a gator in her kitchen. Apparently, it crawled in through the dog door! All that being said, one might argue that we, as humans, are taking away the gators' natural habitat, forcing them into these situations. I can understand both sides of the argument.

I didn't want to say anything, but you have the right to know. It was dark, and I was fumbling around looking for my keys. I felt a slimy, warm, toothy hole, and thought they could have fallen in there. Well, they hadn't, and the owner of that slimy hole didn't appreciate it much that I hadn't asked him first. Hasn't anyone noticed why I type so slow? :(

Aren't there swim at your own risk type signs... you know, stating if you go swimming in here, that's your fault, tough luck kind of thing.
It's the kind of animal that people don't want too much of, it's probably growing to the size it should probably be.

I would guess there are many signs in the states with gator populations. My guess is, that if the gators are expanding their territory, that they don't have signs up in all the places that gators have taken up residence. Not that the kid would have paid any attention to a sign to begin with. :grinno:

Fair point. Then again we live in a world where common sense has left us, and we need to be told all the facts for everything otherwise, it's looking for someone else to blame.
