that's a nice set up
Tells use when u decide to sell some pupea
I might try it I already havethe drawers at my house, feed them to my arowanas

When they are in cold weather do they(all stages) die ? Or just go into a hybernating stage?

Try it, doesn't have to be as fancy as me, any thing will work. Plus it's fun!. For me at least, something to do when i'm bored.

They just slow down really. They'll eat and live just in a slowed state. Like if someone through you out in 20F, yes you could live but you wouldn't be thinking of eating and whatnot and would be slower.

I'm thinking of buying some more. Like a few thousand, they have ebay ones for sell. 5000 for $43 with free shipping or 2000 for $26. Maybe next week or so, we'll see.

Once I start getting baby mealies, then it'll flow a little easier. It's just a waiting game for now.

Just purchased another 1k!!!!!!!!!! Gonna get this business rolling, hopefully it's not a big FAIL, lol. Should be fun either way.

A little over 12 hours later and I ordered another 500. Didn't exactly mean to from lllreptile but it's all good. They should be here by Thursday the latest, will post more pics when I get them! Go me!

When they turn into pupa get a fishing tackle tray and put them each into their own little cubicle!

i've read some people saying not to move mealworms while in the pupa stage or else they will die. any problems with that?

Wow! I am thinking of buying some because of this thread. :D
maybe i'll try to get 100 of them. :D

If that was the case I would be royally screwed, lol. I touch each pupa to put it in the smaller green drawer.

I have heard this with superworms though.

The bottom is a superworm and the top is a normal mealworm. Can't tell in the pic really but superworms are around the 2-3 in. mark and mealworms barely 1.25 in. I've breed superworms before but never noticed if I touched them and they died, but with mealworms nope they don't die. :)

I hate you. lol Just reading this post makes me what to try it. I live in caly there are meal worms on every corner but it does sound like fun. Just kidding about the hate part...

Well I hate you too. :) Buy some mealies. I wish I had baby mealworms already. Your like the third or fourth person to say that, I could be making some dough by now, lol.
