When she say "As for the "emotions" of rays, they don't appear to have a well-developed limbic system, which humans do so I doubt the physical ability to manifest "emotion" is there in rays." Is she saying rays have some concept of emotions by saying they dont have a "well developed limbic system"? Very intresting read even if it is going agianst my hypothesis.

so why do young rays like to play in bubbles? If that is the case then the only concept of them doing this would be something is wrong with the water.... i know alot of people including myself that have rays that like to hover over the bubbles and play in them. which would show some sort of emotional feeling

Read it again, just the bold.

turkeyboy, "playing," to use Karons word, is an anthropomorphic trait. We dont know WHY they do it, but its not because they are little kids running around laughing and giggling. I hate to use another animal as examples, but take a kitten, a kitten chasing that toy you got her at Petsmart isnt doing it for fun, she is honing her hunting skills. We have to be careful when we relate human activities to other animals. While it may seem like they are doing those things, the reason why they are most likely totally different.

BTW, does anyone have access to the second article regarding P. motoro memory?

I see I still think there has to be some type of emotions I not saying like humans with sadness, be happy, or feeling lonley, but maybe in rays some type of comfurt idk i just feel that there has to be somthing. idk may im just the only person but when Im with my ray I just dont see them being a eating/breeding creature, but an interactive creature.

BTW i can acces the second artical either

Got her response...

I am going to correspond with her regarding the last little bit some more. I want to ask her as to what, in her opinion, would constitute as a stressful environement for a ray.

Thank you for giving me a clear knowledge.
Thank you Prof,too.
