Breeding L200s?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
would they breed better in species only tank? i mean are they more likely too or...

I can guess that it will probably just be a greenish blue with white-yellow spots. nothing special.

There is no data about the ability to cross-breed the two species. I hope to shed some light on that topic.

On another side note, the shop I bought my L200s said he had a guy that did have a successful breeding in an aquarium of L200s, but wasn't exactly trying to do it. Couldn't get any info off of him about that other than that though.

sorry to hear of the loss Wyldfya
I just lost three more of my L168 to nodular disease ,all three male...
one had obvious signs (large nodules protruding around head) but the other two weren't as obvious but if you dissect them their internal organs are almost like rotten or eaten away!? maybe try a look at that

It was not nodular disease, I don't think, none were showing signs of it in the least. The bodies were unfortunately not preserved at all and rotted away from maggots before I even got a chance to look at them.

they may breed quite easily then. if breeding L128s and L200s are such an uncommon occurance, its either because no one is trying hard enough, so i doubt the 2 have been crossed
