So I will be picking up 4 new L200s, one is very small. I am going to move them to their own 55 gallon. I built a filter for the tank that hopefully will have a high enough turn over rate. I'll post pics later when I get more put together.
Well, 1 L200 was missing, store thinks it was sold by one of the new employees for $2.99 as a common pleco. The two large L200s both have sunken stomach, and the baby one is looking perfect. Well, yet another set back, but partially my fault for having to wait so long to get them.
Well I'm down to one, all three ended up dying. The little one died first?? Then the healthier of the two large and finally the one that had a sunken stomach that you could feel his spine while touching his stomach. Big set back, but soon I hope to have a new order coming in of new L200s.
Just thought I'd throw up some pictures of the new filter that is running this tank. It runs like a champ, and the baby cons that are in the tank have started growing MUCH faster.
that sucks on the L200s wyldya, better luck with the next batch. i hope they last a lot longer. as we know though, sometimes plecs with sunken stomachs are a big gamble. did you try treating them for internal parasites or anything? nice filter work by the way. whats the media?
