Brought Home A Baby Largemouth Bass!

It looks around 3.5-4 inches long. I'll be growing it up for a bit in my 75g, then transfering it to a 150+ I'll post pics tomorrow after a water change because I know how picture hungry you all are. Lol :D

I have just a few question though: How long will it take for it to outgrow the 75g? Could I try to get it to eat regular fish food or do I have to feed it something specific like massivore (Dunno how to spell that lol...) or that Hikari fish food? And how can I get it to eat non-live? Also, don't know if it's too early or not but I'm curious about its sex and wonder how I can tell? That's all the questions I can think of right now.. Haha
 
if i were u id feed him live food a couple times when u first put him in the tank then starvehim for a couple days and try feeding im market prawn, my bass seem to like that and once u get them eating prawn u can probably get them onto something else
 
You can try dry freeze krill. When i caught mines, i led them starve for about 2-3 days. After that i threw in krills one by one and they took it one by one. After that they just got use to eating dry freeze krill. If your wondering about the pellet training, i have never got mines to eat pellets. I think it will take time if you want your LMB off live food & on pellets. About the sex, thats a hard one, i will guess by the growth rate & how big it will get (IMO). I dont know how long until he/she will outgrow your 75 but it will probably take a few months. Oh yah, they love market shrimp too. If you get them on it :D Goodluck with ur LMB.

Mkay thank you. I have some tiny little shrimps in a can lol would those work?
 
I just found out how picky it is lol.. it won't eat wax worms. Why can't it be like my goldfish and eat anything? Oh and sorry for not having pics up today, when I got home from school I totally zonked out! I did the water change late and the water is still a little murky so I didn't want to take pics :\
