Brought home a bamboo shark

Get some silver sides and thaw them good until they are smelly. Cut them up and use feeding tongs/stick to feed him. The nastier the better. Throw a few ghost shrimp in before to stimulate his feeding response. Feed at night or turn the lights off when feeding. I've yet to see a shark turn it down.

I've tried ghost shrimp, didn't do anything. I've also been trying to feed him in the morning and late at night. Still nothing. I'll pick some squid up tomorrow. Hopefully he doesn't die over night.

I picked up salmon and sliversides today, along with some feeding tweezers. I tried tangling both the salmon and sliversides in front of his face. All he'd do was back up. I did this for a few minutes with both the lights on and off. I left everything in the tank. I came back in the room and I'm pretty sure he was picking at a piece of salmon. He had it under him and was moving side to side. It seemed like as soon as he saw me he jumped off.*There are two small pieces of salmon and sliverside in the tank. Hopefully he'll pick at it later tonight. I don't see any ghost shrimp in there, so I'm assuming he may have ate them. Even if they were dead from the salt water, I'd have at least saw them in there.

My 150 gallon arrived today, I should have it up and running for him shortly. Hopefully he'll start to eat and will make it.

live earthworms or night-crawlers are usually hard for them to resist. I have used them to stimulate feeding in young sharks before.
