And he is the most active Tortoise I have ever seen.
He's my new alarm, lol. Sleeps at around 7:00pm, wakes up at about 9:00am, lol. Hits his shell against the aquarium as he walks.

it might be a good idea to bring clyde to a vet to get him checked out, russians are primarily wild caught and as such can sometimes carry parasites

That def. came to mind when I fist saw him. Just to see if there is anything I should be worried about.

He ate today. Just some lettuce, nothing special. Added some substrate (Forest Floor Bedding, or something like that) and I will be hopefully getting some supplies Wednesday from the previous owners.

New rescue.
Today we had a 15" Long Nose Gar dropped off. Great condition, not a mark on him. Seemed to be well cared for. He lived his whole life in a 55-Gallon tank, and the original owner knew that he needed a bigger tank. (Although, I don't think that was the real reason. Most likely because he just got bored with it, which was pretty much what he was telling me. He wanted to setup a Cichlid tank.)
He was fed feeders, pellets, and sometimes bits of earthworms. I've got him in his temporary tank until we finish the indoor pond, which now that I have the correct measurements, will be over 400-Gallons! Plenty of room for this guy to swim and grow. And now that we have him in our care, operation Pond Build needs to be started sooner. We were planning on starting in August, but we may start sooner, sometime this month.
Either way, he's a beautiful fish, just amazing looking. I really don't have much experience with these guys, so this is new to me... but so was the Tilapia, JD, Tortoise, Glow Fish, etc.

Picked up some more rescues last night.
First we have a mix of community fish. The family had someone give them the tank for free, but they like Saltwater fish, so that's where I came into play, lol. Now, I'm not very good with naming Tetras, but I think I should know what they are;
3x Neons
3x Glowlight Tetras
3x Black Neons
Also...
1x Bushynose Pleco
1x Albino Cory fish
1x Peppered Coryfish
6x Glowfish
Lately I've been after all of the more exotic stuff, so going back to Tetras and other common community fish just doesn't feel right, lol.
Now, enough with the little stuff, time for a fairly decent sized )v(onster! Yet another JD, but this time a bit larger. About 8", to be exact. At first the two JDs were not getting along, as shown in the pictures, but as time went on the started to calm down a bit. He was actually from the same person that has the Tiger Ocsar. I knew that I would be back there for him eventually. They wanted Tetras and stuff, and after putting a bunch in with the JD he soon ate them all. An 'a dur' moment for me, but what ever makes them feel good I guess, lol.
And finally, pics. Got two of the Common Pleco rescue also.

update!

And an update you shall get!

Had some more rescues dropped off yesterday, seems how it is a little past 2:00am now. They are two Oscars (Hmm, more Oscars, go figure), and three Spotted Pictus Catfish. And the story behind them. They original owner works seven days a week, and just "doesn't have the time to give them the attention they need." So, he was taking down his 90-Gallon because of this. Got a hold of me, and I've got two more )v(onsters, lol.
The smallest has beautiful coloration, IMO. The bright orange coloring just looks great. Looks even better with a different Oscar rescue in the tank with dark orange coloring.
And the other Oscar looks great as well. Has a lump on his head, and is def. the aggressive one out of the two.
The three Pictus are now coexisting with my two original Pictus, and are fun to watch scavenge the bottom of the tank during feeding time. Then they tuck away in the rocks.
