Bts vers ackies

are bts just slugs while out handling or can they be active?Im asuming farmed is not wc?never heard it put that way.A bts farm.
 
They just took the mother out of the wild and bore the babies in a pen or something.

Same thing they do to Frilled Dragons in Indonesia, except they collect the eggs.
 
It's actually worse than wild-caught in my opinion, because they are removing an entire generation from the wild rather than a few individuals. Just my two cents.

so is that bad or good as far as being a good pet later?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Might I add just so you guys know,I am by no means an impulse buyer and throughout the years learned that the hard way.I only ask so many questions for 1 because its a herp site to conversate about herps with whoever cares and 2,because I really want to make the right move here and dont want to regret anything so thanks to you guys who understand.Im not trying to bug,this hobby is like drinkin a 6 pack for me,helps me unwind.

yeah but as far as this one making a good pet?I see what your saying on the other though.
 
Yes, Jason, even it is a WC import, they'e pretty darn adaptable lizards and should do just fine. IN the picture it seems to tolerate being messed with, so if you really don't care what species/locality it is, go for it. He should make a great little pet either way.

Every BTS is a little different, but ours can be pretty active and explorative when taken out.

so do you not think its a Irian,on bts.net it sure looks like one.
