Building a 1500 Gallon plywood & glass tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
can't wait for the updated pictures! man i'd love to do something like this but i wouldn't even know where to begin, also being a renter and all i'm sure my landlord would probably punch me in the face. the place i'm moving into does however have a huuuge basement.. hmmm

Todays update:
Got some additional sand but it's 34 degrees outside again and raining so I won't get a chance to clean it until it warms up some more. When I add the new sand I will also re-arrange the pile of wood to the right side of the tank and make the dragon more centered as well as hide the air lines.

Fish in the tank are:
1x Bala Shark (11")
3x 5" tinfoil barbs
2x blood parrots
1x Tigrinis cat (13")
1x common pleco (6")
6x pictus cats
3x blue crays
5x giraffe cichlids

Will be moving from my 300 gallon tank shortly:
4x 7" clown loaches
4x 10" tinfoil barbs
1x common pleco (12")
1x watermellon pleco (7")
3x pink tail chaleous <sp>

Pics do this thing NO justice. It's huge in pics but standing in front of it.... INSANE.

Not only a lot of work but a lot of thought and to have it done in 8 weeks.... Obviously some serious dedication as well.

And Rich you should be happy it's that warm there.... It gets ugly when the temp drops undeer freezing...... What a drive.....

Keep those pics coming!!!!
