lol , That bad? I got my buddy an asian arowana from San Francisco.... Whats the penalty for that ?

I'm not an attorney, so I couldn't tell you exactly. From what I've read, it does carry the possibility of prison sentence, stiff fines i.e. 250K, and removal of the fish. I'd think it would be determined by the number that you have. At the bare minimum, you'd lose the fish because they are illegal to possess in the US.

I just found the thread lol. I read the whole thing for the past hour or so--AWESOME. I'm waiting to see some pics of the tank completely finished with plants, full sand and full decor! Nice job..someday, someday...

it might be worth it to do the double pane i was talking about. cleaning algae off a cover that big and secluded would be annoying.

i know that FRT are really endangered and slow to reproduce but why are asian aros ilegal in the us? just another law passed by poeple who know nothing on the subject?

Update:

A leak !!!!

I think I have it pin pointed to a spot that was around the bulkhead seaping water. Nothing to do with the pond armor just my own fault for not getting the bulk heads as tight as I could. Will know more after I refill half the tank.

Sump is moving along:
Had to make a recessed area to clear the plumbing.

Is the leak on that Lower Bulkhead... from the picture it appears alittle wet on the one side... could just be the picture though... or my vivid imagination

Hi, Are you gonna add more sand? Maybe its just me but the blue patches seem to give a sense of unfinishness. Still looks extremely cool though.

where is your sump in relation to the tank? I wanna see a shot of the whole room when youre done...I'm designing my dream home now and I want to see how a DIY tank might look from a further view
