I know the question wasn't directed at me but I wanted to answer anywaycatfishlover106;1870671; said:hey gekkecichla...sorry to derail but how thick of a glass do you think would be good for a 720 gallon? since my tank would be 8'x4'x3'...what would be the safest thickness to be able to withstand the water pressure and not be able to break from a large cichla like orinos and my arowana...?

Be safe and use 1" which will give you a safty factor of something like 4.3
you could get away with 3/4" and a safty factor of 2.5 (Home aquaria norms) but the public aquariums have a safty factor of greater than 3.5 I beleive so I'd be hitting up something in the range of 3/4" to 1"
not to my knowledge... you'll need to contact a glass shop for that... most likly a custom order for it as well.catfishlover106;1870763; said:does HomeDepot sell 1" thick glass?
