dude you could have made it saltwater and put sharks in it lol that's what I would have done. Arapaimas would probably reach their max size in that aquarium
 
If I had a "tank" like that, I would conduct "tours" for schools in my area and charge them for it. Pays for my feeder, water, and electricity bills... Haha....

Actually he never grew more than 2 inches over a 22 month period, as he arrived in poor condition with a swim bladder problem. He died in late 2013.

The area above the tank is sealed so actually virtually no evaporation.

I still do non stop water exchanges with the overflow going to two of my ponds outside.
