Bullying and Repercussions

I've got no remorse period when it comes to potential threats to my loved ones. You kill the whole family to one) make sure that the bad genes, raising, etc doesn't get passed on and more importantly two) to make the punishment of the crime carry such weight that few would try it. As we all know in America prison is soft on people and three) you make sure that no one is left to retaliate against you. If the cops and courts won't protect the people they are sworn to serve we should take matters into our own hands. Why should our tax dollars go to protect and coddle those that would harm our families? Yeah it sounds draconian but its time to actually start punishing the monsters in our society rather than give them a slap on the wrist.

Why does that have to be genetic or the parents fault? What if the person acts that way because they were abused themselves, not by a family member but someone else the trusted. It could have been by a coach, teacher, boy scout leader, religious figure, etc...all of those examples have happened recently and yet the family wasn't at fault for any of them.

She took her life because she was mentally disturbed and needed help, not because of cyber bullying.

Are you saying she would have done it anyway? No, she wouldnt have. If the people who bullied her were willing to joke about her death the next day, where her family and friends could see it, imagine what they did to her when she was alive?

When I was bullied by 3 kids in ms I knocked one out with a lunch tray put 13 stitches in his forhead the other two appologized.kids need to hit and be hit its life it also helps u sort out the cowards like guys who hit girls or the ones who mess with little guys or gals I'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around if u get me one on one well fight but gang up and ill cut your lips off promised

Are you saying she would have done it anyway? No, she wouldnt have. If the people who bullied her were willing to joke about her death the next day, where her family and friends could see it, imagine what they did to her when she was alive?

How do u know she wouldnt have? Fact is she needed help. She had mental issues thats a fact and more than likly would have at least attempted it even without the cyber bullying.

I've always avoided fights even when bullied. I've always known that if I ever got in a fight, I wouldn't stop until the person was dead. People forget were not all the same.

Actually I did almost kill a kid once who was bullying me, I can't believe I forgot. He was smaller than me too, he just wouldn't stop so I grabbed his neck and started strangling him. He turned blue and passed out before his brother pulled me off of him. I think I was 12 at the time

There are some people posting in this thread with apparent mental health problems. It's a good reminder even on a seemingly harmless website like MFK not to let all your information out. People talking about the bad things they'd do how would you know someone wouldn't hunt you down off here. Some of you guys should at least look at yourself and learn how to be nice and care for other people.

People are responsible for what they do, period.
It is not true that "across the board", parents cause their kids' behavior. Too many things in the mix. SOME parents encourage [or don't deal with] bad behavior, but others really just lose the battle with their kids' own will.

i'm not saying to slap them on the wrist, the rapist should get what's coming to him. but his whole family??? you're way off there imo

if one of your kids were to be a rapist, would you commit suicide to kill off the bad gene?

I was one of the "victim/thinkers" in my first couple years of middle school. I think it just made me stronger as a person and more sympathetic to those who deal with bullying, and since then I was never bullied again, and actually stood up for friends who were bullied a few times.
