As an avid fan of dungeons and dragons, i like dragons and aros the closest to a red dragon. If i can own one I'll buy it instantly:D Aros are gracefull and one of the fish that can turn 180 w/o turing it's whole body. Whatever rocks your boat.

Arowanas are an incredible and rare mixture of beauty and grace mixed with awe inspiring raw power. Add to that the fact that they are active and personable and you have yourself all the ingredients of a fine monster aquarium fish.

arowanas have been my FAVORITE fish for 14yrs (I am 14yrs old to lol) well I got into fishkeeping because of them... well its a stupid story but arowanas brought me "good luck" because when we walked in a fish store (scott worked there at the time) he had a couple of aros in a 100 gal. tank... I FREAKED out and got real excited and started blurting out info about them to my mom... well scott (owner) overheard and we became REAL good friends... now he owns his own fish store... can order ANYTHING I want and sells them for low prices to me and also said that I am guranteed a job when I turn 16 or whatever with 7$ and hr... :D lol.... they brought me good luck.... I also think they are the coolest (not primitive) but prehistoric fish.... they are a perfect mix of beauty, majestic and gracefullness, and when anybody sees a baby all they can say is "AWWWW" because of the massive eyes... :D

aww thos babys are soo cute :)

some people ar guppy people
some people are cichlid people
some people are pleco people
but me, i just like fish :) :screwy:

When I first got a good size aquarium, 135 for free from my Aunt and Uncle, I was completely against getting an Aro. They had one for a few years and my GF had one before we met. I got hooked on Aquariums and got a larger thank and was drawn to Aros. I eventually got a little silver that was killed by a slightly smaller Jardini Aro 2 months later. Currently I have a Black Aro and the Jardini and like the way the Silvers and Blacks swim back in forth in the tank as well as not bothering both the small and large tank mates. I like the appearance of the Jardini and its tenacity and love the colors of the Asian Aros. To each is own with fish and almost anything in life. Could you image if everyone liked and wanted the same fish or same things, life would be boring without any variety.
