yea i'm kind of impressed too, it was so plain in the other tank, I feel like the flash on the photo really brought it out. this fish has kept the dark lateral line marking and the spots above it are a lot darker than previously. its really turning into a real nice looking fish. I was going to pick up a couple more hoping to find it a mate and they are all sold out. kinda choked.

also there were a handful of f1 guianacara dacrya fry in there that were wandering around without a care in the world before I put this little creni in there, he's been in there for 1 night and I couldn't see a single one this morning. either he is a VERY efficient predator or they have had the instinct to avoid this creature passed down in their genes. very interesting either way
Just wanted to update with a video of this guy. He has grown a little, mostly in his head it seems. He has a super big head compared to his body. But he is really looking good this video doesn't capture the reds on his dorsal and caudal fins that well but they they look great and he has a fair amount of spangles on his lateral line and spots along his side.
