Well, here is my gold. He is about 4 1/2". I have had him since the end of August, 2008. When I got him, he was maybe 2". He is just now starting to get his worms on his face.
My green guy who doesn't like getting his picture taken. He is about 4" and was 1 1/2" in August, 2008 when I got him.

Yeah that's a female rotkeil. Mine looks exactly like that - much less red in the shoulder than males.
