i baby proofed the filters this afternoon so im hoping the fry will be able to survive in the tank long enough to get some size on them.

i've considered pairing up the two rots but there are two things. one i know and love the interaction between these two. they are alwasy swimming together in the tank and idk if the male rot would do the same. second, my g/f loves the two together and says they cannot be broken apart :D

Great pics Sean. Stick with what the girlfriend wants, breaking up a bonded pair will probably only end with the male rotkeil beating the crap out of the female. Plus your girlfriend will be happier. Your male Rotkeil is a real looker though, so that makes me a little torn on what to do (but that opinion is biased based on the hope of lovely little rotkeil fry for me at the next auction :ROFL:).

well i tried to "baby" proof the 55g this afternoon. i put some sponge on the intake of the filter so they won't get sucked up as quickly. im going to get some babies first bites or maybe some baby brine shrimp tomorrow when i get off work
