there may not be proof of it...but hold a penny above your head. there is no deffinite proof that if you let go it'll drop, but you can make an educated decision that it will. now drop that penny...hopefully it just hit you in the head.

So, what your saying is that although there is no proof that the penny will drop, you believe that it will. What your saying is that you have faith that a certain outcome will happen.

Sorry to bring up such an old post. I have been at work all day.:( Anyway, this is just what I belive. The majority of religions out there are based on nothing other than beliefs. Some people's entire lives revolve around religions that are completely factless. No one has ever seen God, yet so many people believe in Him with absolutely zero evidence. Also, I have noticed that most people in this thread are thinking small. Like bacteria. I think we need to think bigger. I think that humans think too highly of themselves. We have a hard time believing that there could be something bigger and smarter than ourselves. I think that we would have a hard time thinking that we are a small part of something much larger and more important than everything we know. I also believe that what we know about space is so insignificant, it would be impossible to scientifically determine what is actually out there.

It sounds like you are playing both sides of the fence here. You dont believe in God because you dont think any one has ever seen Him, but your also saying that people are being stubborn because they wont believe that there could be something bigger and smarter than themselves.

Oh, and I dont want to be the derail-er but be careful to just accept the notion that there is no evidence for God, or that a belief in God is factless. This is simply not true. You did say the "majority" of religions, so I wont put words in your mouth as to which specific one(s) you are speaking of though, because there certainly are a bunch of them. :D

Whether you want to believe in "anything" or not, life originated from somewhere. The question is where did it come from?

Very true statement. I don't care where it came from, It doesn't worry me, It doesn't affect my day-to-day life.

While I dont agree, I sincerely admire your honesty. I was there before, and there are a lot of people who feel the same way as you but just dont have the balls to put it that way.

Seriously, Lol. Why do I have balls for posting what I think, Why do I have balls for saying "I don't care where it came from"? Interesting . I honestly don't understand.
