Awesome pics Rallyman..Cant wait until I pick up my D80. What kind of lense you using? I'm just picking the body and going to pick up a bad arse lense. How much did the flash run you?

I honestly can't remember what I dropped on the flash. Those pix were with a promaster 17-50mm, but the flash makes a MUCH bigger difference than a lens when taking pictures of a fish.

hold on do you want a flash??anybody use a
Nikon D70s, 6.1 Megapixel, SLR, Digital Camera Kit with 18-70mm DX Zoom Nikkor Lens

or no if thats a good beginer camera

That's a great camera, buy you're not going to be able to just pick it up and get awesome pictures. It takes a lot of practice and time studying to use them to their full potential.

okay thanks rally what do you think would be a good price for that camera used...in like new condition....or even if you can gues

It depends on age, condition, number of pictures that have been taken with it, and what it comes with. Also region makes a big difference.

In other words, I don't know lol

okay...my father keeps saying that 6.1 mp is too low is that true....what would be like a pretty good amount

It's the same as the D50 which is what I used to take the pictures I posted. If you want to make massive prints then it's a bit low, but for anything a normal printer would do it's fine.

Mega Pixels don't mean anything if the glass in front of the camera sucks. For example, you can have a 10mp point and shoot, but the lens on it is nothing compared to the DSLR.

I got a question...what does the over-tank flash unit look like?
