I drove around to every Family Dollar in a 15 mile distance for two weeks to get all of those bad boys. I did ended up buying a bunch of bio balls at Fishy Business that day I saw you. They're the blue ones at the top. The blue ones mixed in with the scrubbies and the disks were Chomper's.

I'll be able to set this all up once I go to Home Depot and buy some foam for under the sump and tank.

Well its looking pretty good. LOL I still can't believe it was that much trouble getting all those!! Yah I figured you would end up getting a few of the bio balls. I am looking forward to seeing it up and running!:)

Got the tank up today.

I put down the foam.

Notice my cat is in the same exact spot and position as the pic I took earlier! Weird. If you compare the pics, they look almost the same.

Then set up the tank.

It's definitely up there! Eye level.

We had fun putting it up there.........It wouldn't fit through the hallway so we had to improvise.

that's my brother pulling it in. I handed the tank to him from the outside and ran inside the house to get the opposite side when I snagged this pic.

Now I just have to finish up the plumbing. I also have to chisel part of the cinder block to make room for the plumbing. I'm not really liking having to do that, but I have to or else it wont fit.

I'll keep the updates going.

I don't think weight will be an issue with the cinder blocks.... they can hold up my dads dually with a 350g water tank in the back no problem.
It is loooking awesome too.

Thanks.

Yeah, the weight shouldnt be a problem. I'm mostly woried about it being top heavy. I'm sure it'll be ok though.

I should have this beast up and running tomorrow, I need to move my fish over soon.

With all that weight and cinder blocks it looks like it would be pretty sturdy. Tank and sump look awesome.

Looks good man, i'll be making a cinder block stand soon here too with my new acrylic tank that I am picking up.

Sounds good. Let us all know how it goes!

I got the plumbing done today and filled the tank. I turned on the pump and one of the bulkheads started leaking. I am now in the process of draining it to try and fix the problem. It's ok though. I figured it would happen.

Hope it goes smoothly. If you need to borrow the pond liner, the offer still stands...rob

Thanks Rob. I'm refilling it now. I had to do some readjusting. Thanks for the offer. I hope I won't need to use it.
