ouch. You needed a new window there anyways, right? For something like that, I'd consider taking out a wall.
 
Took out the bottom window panel. Then broke the bottom glass of the top panel and took a sawzaw to the bracing. lol That's how we do it down south.

With the tank up against a wall and in a corner, wouldn't that severly limit what you can do and or see in the back compartments? I would be alot nicer in the middle of a room. But the space it would take up would kill most rooms for anything else.

Yeah. That is the one thing that is on my mind right now. I'm going to sleep on it. The tank is still able to be moved around, so I'm good for now. I mean, It's no big deal if the back ones get bookoo algae on them from me not reaching them. But it's another thing not being able to see the fish. And if I put it in the middle of the room, then it's in the MIDDLE of the room. All up in the rooms business. Know what I mean? I'll probably move it into the middle though.
 
Maybe I could just pull it off the wall a few feet. Not make it right in the middle, but off centered a bit...hmm
