Camshafts' new project. "The growout"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Got all my pvc, kaf-flex, and fittings. Ball valves, quick releases. All that good stuff.

I live one mile away from Aquatic-EcoSystems. I love that place.
They have everything you would ever need.
Missing a bulkhead and a few feet of kaf-flex though.
I'll have to go back Monday and pick some up.

I think I might start stuffing in the scrubbies tonight.

That's a huge sump, how many scrubbies will it hold?

1,900 and change.
I forget exactly. Somewhere between 1,900 and 2,000.
It is far more than I need, but I can use it later on down the road for something much larger.
And I could also plumb it into some of my other tanks.

And I could also plumb it into some of my other tanks. --------------------------and a near by lake if needed.

Before you got that all set up you should have hooked it up to a 20g tank and made a new account on here and posted a thread about your new guppies set-up. That would have been great.

LoL

I actually was thinking about it. I was going to put plumb a 10 gallon on top. Then take a picture and put it in the, 'Most over filtered tank" thread. lol But I totally forgot.

Got a little further. lol....

It's one colorful sump. lol

Pictures do not include the filter tray. I tossed in a lighting sheet and some 100 micron filter pad for a temp tray until I make it.

I still have to seal in some pieces of acrylic to hold in the pad at the bottom of the partition.

I would also like to point out, again, I know this sump is far too large for the tank it's going on.
Later on down the road this will be multi-plumbed to other tanks and/or one very large tank.

If the job at Seven Seas Aquarium doesn't pan out, I am certain Sesame Street could use your color organizing skills. :D

There was only really one flamer, and I think that fire has been put out.
