Just examples for possible locations near your Kentucky area. There should be other sanblasting/abrasive companies u can call.

  • Ask for red garnet and the brands they have in store
  • Store Locations
  • Target mesh size 20 to 40
  • ask How much per 50lb bag. Usually $20+/-
  • Call Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 repeatedly at 3 a.m. until he answers for questions. :—)

Also Vancouver_98683 Vancouver_98683 what do you think I agree about her being a Lap but where do you reckon she's from?

The Nigerian Lap is the generic name even for the ones collected outside of the country of Nigeria. This lap specie are widespread. Catch locale is not gonna change too much for these. Majority will look like the ones u have. Therefore, your’s a Nigerian Lap.

Photos are examples of a locale. The 9-11” fish below were collected near the city of Ughelli in the Delta State of Nigeria.

I think nigerian laps as well. Real underrated fish. Very similar to pbb when smaller.

Try emailing barton sales. They are pretty good at finding distributors.

customerservice@barton.com

Substrate makes a big difference with lower jaws. I have some before and after pics of my group when i changed the substrate and its night and day. I think we did a substrate thread a while back. I'll try and dig it up
