OK you can use that for the air lifter if you get a "CPR" style Overflow box...
CPR is just a trade name and the original manufacturer of the style of overflow I posted a few posts back...

You'll still need a return pump...i recommend the QuietOne 2200...

Sooo, then yay another thing I didn't completely waste money on;)

Well, is it hard to make a return pump?

FINE, I'll buy one:ROFL:

So then with the return pump...I don't need a mag or anything gravity just makes it work?

Yup it is an overflow system...
The water in your sump after being filtered...is pumped to the tank by the return pump...because the water level is above the overflows, it "overflows" back down by gravity to the sump...

Now if there is a power failure, the pump stops pumping water into the tank, so there is no water to overflow into the sump...when the power restores, then the pump will start to overflow the tank, the air-lifter starts the syphon in the overflow box and everything is back running again...

Basically...

Ok, thanks!!!!!;)

So once I get the overflow and the pump...I should be good to go right?

Oh wait....about the panes of glass in the sump, is it ok the way I have it or do I need to take some out????

Well, have to head out to work now...Thanks soooooooooo much!!! Once I get the parts I'll come back for more help LOL!!!

yeah, you might need a hose to go from the overflow to the sump and then some PVC pipe or hose to go from the pump to the spray-bar or outlet nozzle, which ever you are going to run...

When do you plan on setting this up?

Yup Yup it's Sunday so I got my honey-do's to do still and cut the grass so just chime when you need more help...
