Can you easily remove the partition where the eggcrate and skimmer is?

Well the skimmer isn't installed in it or anything, it isn't even in there I just sat it in to make sure it would fit. As for the glass well, that may be a bit more difficult I siliconed it pretty good. I'm sure I COULD get it out of there if it were needed, but do you think it could work?

Why is the water level so low on a FW one?

Is the egg creat going "flat" in the FW one..instead of on the glass like mine?

Here is my thought...would it work?

OK, where the skimmer is would actually be foam, floss, whatever, in the middle sponges (or should that be open?), where the three glass panes are...floss, bio-balls, sponges, on the end the pump..or would that be backwards or all wrong? So the pump would actually be on the opposite end I have the skimmer placed in the pic?

ORRRRRR, should the pump go on the end the skimmer is? Everything the opposite way of what I said above?

The pump is what returns the water back to the tank right?!

I think I've got the basic idea now.. The water in the display tank has to be below the overflow level?
