Can anyone identify these 2 chichlids ?

the first fish looks like it was an attempt at a red tex the other fish is deff 100% a grammode...

the only thing that has me stumped is that there is no eye spot on the operculum

Which is EXACTLY the reason why it's NOT a thorichthys lol

the picture you posted looks similar, but i searched that name and the fish that came up in results looks nothing like the one you posted

1st one looks like a hybrid maybe umbee cross but 2nd for sure is grammodes

The first looks like a hybrid, maybe Texas x ?, but the second is Ex-C. grammodes 100%.

Thats what I thought.


But after those NEW pics...What a FREAK! Looks awesome...Definitely hybrid, heres my guess as to what was mixed: Umbee x Texas....IDK but def. Umbee mix, lol
