can exodon really go in a 29 gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Honestly looking at their habits (from what I've seen) a bigger tank would be much better.

I have 10 exodons in a 29gal low tech planted tank and they thrive like hell in there. I luv these guys. man they never stop moving. wish I had energy like these things.

ok thanks guys, I hope we get a lot of snow this winter because that's how I make my money for the most part and I'll need it for these guys, I plan to get around 20-30 and put them in the 29 gallon (if I get the 29) biocube because of the sump it has for a heater and because my loaches in my current biocube 29 go into the overflow all the time, now do exodon grow to 3 inches or 5 inches? I hear both all the time

about 3" in aquariums. LOL 30 will be too many in a 29gal. they would probably start snuffing each other out you'll find. I would suggest 55gal for that. well worth the small extra cost to bump up the size. these guys need room. even my 10 in the 29gal is about all u would want I think

my parents won't let me get more, I think if I have enough hiding spots and plants they'd be fine, I want enough for them to go into a feeding frenzy when I drop in food, the more the better because it would spread out aggression more, or atleast I think so

I'm curious, what are the dimensions of this 29 gallon bio cube?

That is quite small to be honest. The foot print is not that great I'd say personally.
Does anyone have a different opinion on how many can go in there now that yall know the size?
