Can I add an Arowana to this setup?

There's numerous papers on this subject for anyone that is truly interested - but none of it has anything to do with the original question, or for that matter the species in question. In the wild none of this comes in to play with arowana, unless trapped in a puddle at the end of the rainy season, in which case predators will soon resolve any growth issues. lol

Surely you mean dry season? That was the only scenario i could think of.

But point taken. I do enjoy a good old discussion vs. Scouring academic journals though. And this thread veered off pages ago it seems.

We are not allowed to give advice that benifits the welfare of the fish. If we do we get greeted by you telling us we can't say that and people can keep what they want.

Lots of fish get a crap deal but we are advising about this fish. Jaws if I could save them all I would, but I'm answering a post about this said species at present.

Lots of fish, probably millions across the continents, get trapped in small bodies of water, and ultimately get picked off by predators, or die from starvation and/or lack of 02.

Ok sparky nuff of the b.s your peddling. Where did i even disagree or tell either of you your advice was wrong ? I made a genetics comment and an asian aro comparison YOU were the one who had an issue with MY comments. At best i made comments that were unrelated to the op. Nothing new in any section.
