Which africans did you want to put in there? Because about the only africans that will work in a 20long are smaller Lake Tang fish like shellies or multis.

im learning more, but i'll be able to swich them to a 55, so any pics of tank setups for a 20 or 55 with fish picks. Tahnks

the guy just asked for African tank pics, thats all! He didnt ask for input, or a lecture on what cichlids to keep in 20L. im tired of seeing post that start with a simple question then get totally off topic and that dont help the person what so ever. :SaiyanSmi

I have an African Oddball Set Up for my Bichir and Leopard Bush Fish. It's a Sand and pebble mixed subtrate and a few Rocks on one side with a small piece of driftwood and an Anubius plant. For some African CIchlids, you should add more rocks...

I agree, I dont think people should tell others what can and cant be done, medhod and results can be different beetwen 2 people. Lot of things can be done with good managment.
I still would not recomend Africans in a 20 gal, but it can be dione with good result if some thought is put in it.

Here ar some pictures of my African tanks, tank size is 40-55 gal.

i was new to the cichlid thing when this started. So i didnt do rock formations and went with plastic. once my cichlids get bigger i will changing the ornaments but for my 2inch and smaller cichlids this 48 gal bowfront is perfect.

also reef rock has now been added to increase the ph.

I have an older one just to give some idea. (Sorry for the dirty tank in the photo)
