maybe his facts are wrong but hes totally right. too many people want to be cool and have that monster fish in their 90g. if you cant afford the tank, dont buy the fish. damn, think about the fish!!! just cause they dont speak, dont mean theyre not hating their envoronment. who cares if she laid eggs or not...
 
i think it possable to keep 2 silvers together but alot harder wioth any other type of aro unless you have 5 or more
 
You show me anywhere on any web-site where it shows asian aro's or aussie aro's getting over 2ft. It doesn't happen at least not in an aquarium. Silver aro's and Blacks get at least 3 ft. in an aquarium and if you feel ok keeping a 36" Fish in a 24" Wide aquarium then thats your problem. All i was saying is most all profiles of Silver's and Black's recommend not to keep them in aquariums because of there huge size they will require a pond eventually. So you get your facts straight and stop making excuses for not giving your aro the proper housing.

and no they dont eventually need a pond :p
 
I dont think my aro will outgrow my tank (36" wide) I hope it does though....cause that would require a larger one and i'm all for that:D

kool has nothing to do with it

i never brag about my fish or show them off (except on MFK :D ).

if the fish can turn around easily, eat till her heart contents and have the cleanest of water i think she would be very comformtable

its not as cramped as you think :)
 
Mine never uses the full width of the tank to turn around. She usually coils up really tight and darts to the other side. or sometimes swims in a tight circle.
