Can I or Should I add an EBJD

yeah senegals are straight up predators, i would bet big money that it was the sen that did it in. anytime i have tried adding smaller fish to my tank it was never the big bruiser cichlids that were the issue it was the stupid polys, i love them and they are very interesting but i just cant handle the predation anymore, i should be having to worry about my cichlids hurting new fish not the lazy looking sens, and yet my cichlids only pick a little bit to haze in newcomers (even if they could eat them if they tried) and then leave them alone and its no big deal but then the polys strike at night 
Yeah it was definitely the Poly...
I guess I was convinced he would be fine since the EBJD had been sitting right in from of the Poly who showed no interest. But the Poly has been eating none stop now that he is just over 6" and has developed some girth.
Oh well, I spent $23 on a feeder fish
...maybe when I get this 380 setup I will convert the 125 to a cichlid tank...
