give all your fish to a vendor that will take care of them, then buy some guppies or tetras, stick with that until you can save money and actually know what your doing, just because you have good equipment doesn't mean you know what your doing and your fish will live.

No matter the tank size although you are going to need to get a larger one really soon. Its good to keep a black ghost knife in a pcv tube. Because of their limited sight and nocturnal behavior they like to be in pipes and under large rocks. And just so you know black ghost knife fish can get up to 36inches. Thats 3 feet of fish! The fish you chose are some good fish but not for starters. Good Luck with that doe.

thanx for the advice i really appreciate that ,,,, :):grinno:

yeah i am happy that you will because now the fish will be happy and live and you can enjoy the fish keeping hobby and hopefully soon be able to purchase a large enough tank for your fish. Guppies are buetiful livebears (meaning their babies are born alive not in eggs) and reproduce a lot, I would make sure to have 2 femails for every male atleast or 3:1 female:male to make sure the males are happy. Good luck, you can also get a school of tetras. I would get like 10 of the same tetras, no more or no less, make sure that if you get tetras you get atleast 6 of the same kind because they are schooling fish.

Good luck and if you have any questions please ask. Also remember, employees get paid from the business and if the business go's bankrupt they don't get payed so not all employees know or care about what they tell you.

I know you guys feel for the fish, but you guys are harsh! this guy came here for advice and you bashed him. While I agree he should get a larger tank or smaller fish, thats no excuse to have a go at this guy like this. HE DID COME HERE AFTER ALL. Which is a hell of alot more than some hobbiest do.

Shanky, we all got to start somewhere. I comend you for sticking to this thread through the bashing, and your decision to downsize the fish in the 10gal. good luck on this tank and your next one.

Good move on getting the Monsters out of there. I learned the hard way too when I started fishkeeping, and I regret it.

so wait what id we decide on for BGK's and O's?
yes if the tank it big enough?

im' thinking 300 w/ a GG.
