  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I found a picture of some other guy, succesfully keeping an asian arowana RTG and tetraodon MBU puffer together!

Enjoy!

in a big tank, a MBU and a "mellow" Aro, I don't see why not.

I never would have thought that combo would work but it sure looks sweet..

That is absolutely amazing.

how many times is a question asked on MFK and you get 10+ responses that are definite, undisputable "yes" or "no" and all in agreement, then you suddenly get a photo proving everyone wrong? i think that we all need to be a litlte more open minded. i've learned that this hobby is full of the unknown . . .there are not always definite "yes" or "no" answers.

If you had a big enough tank to house both an MBU + an Aro then i don't see why it wouldn;t work... but you are still basically looking at a tank that is around 1000G+ for the two of them...

Agree with needing the 1000+ gallon tank for two such large fish. I wouldn't have seen a problem with doing it personally. A mbu would be the only puffer I would trust and you would have to make sure both were of comparable size so they wouldn't eat each other. Obviously as the pictures above show it's been done at least once with success.

And FlyingDJ that is one amazing tank.
