thanks for all the responses i want to try it but i have a 250g coming and i wanted to do it but still need a little more research
I think people really overestimate the aggression levels of the Mbu!
Mine lives with a 5-6" Flowerhorn and a 18" Fire Eel.
Theyre all in a 4x2x2 atm but my 8x3 is turning up at the end of the week.
Just be carefull because my puffer is around 9" and has not grown much (he eats loads and i change lots of water)
I would worry about the arowana outgrowing and potentialy eating the puffer due to its snail-pace growth rates.
I liked to think my puffer is specail and just tolerated tankmates but i have yet to see an agro Mbu, although im sure its possible.
Sorry cant pic the Eel he only stays still when i feed him, he only feeds by hand and i only have two hands lol

I was just at a fellow members house and he had a puffer cruising around his 300 gallon with clown loaches,koi,and cichlids. Pretty cool, he said if the puffer grows up around other fish it gets used to them. I want one, but know the biggest tank I could get would be a 200 gallon tank.
