OK this is a pretty significant change so i am posting pictures again it had a growth of color all of a sudden..dont know if the colors are due to my diet or lighting treatment or mirror technique but here he is. I love this guy

Oh i gave him a target fish too heheh but it cant even catch it..oh and if you are wondering my water parameters are a little on the higher end of 7 about 7.5ish..

Sorry these are better pictures ..you will see a difference in these pictures..i think its the live small shrimps and highly various color enchancing pellets i stuff him with..heheh

The dark pearls that it had a lack of are really dark and even grew in diameter ..then these whitish pearly things started to develop and read fins started to grow outward from base of fins its entire fins are kind of redish but its more apparent at the bases. Eyes are blood shot now and the black in the eyes are like radiant..heheh :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

Oh if you guys are wondering this is my formula for success.. live meal worms (feed it freeze dry shrimp, mysis, krill, bloodworms, etc ..all in different containers though..like 1st container are meal worms only feed freeze dry shrimp 2nd freeze dry mysis blah blah etc..oh and all freeze dried stuff are first soaked in omega fatty acid 3s that i get from the pharmacy..)

Once meal worms are nice and blump i feed them to my flowerhorn you can see that they are through flashlight shined on them..

Live waxworms (only feed it veggy, carrots and even throw in some seaweed hahah but its great for chlorophyll stuff ) Sometimes it will eat it sometimes it wont wateverz..

The treats are all frozen stuff like beefheart, blood worms, krill, ect..this i feed very rarely like once in a blue moon...

the picture tells the rest heheh

as time passes ill find something new to feed as pellet maybe give NLS , Grand sumo, or ching mix a try later on dont know if its worth it though..

Oh one very nub thing i had done is no back ground and no colorful gravel so that would definitely help however i feel like a good T8 and T5 plant light will activate the pigments in the fish skin like human tanning..heheh ..

I think the best thing to do is to get plants for helping with water quality ..i currently change water like daily 4-10% now just to give it the best possible quality cant do too much at a time because of the bacteria colonies.. that help you break down the ammonia and nirates .

However once you have these things down i dont think you can make even the uglies fish look bad...it might not be MP but it will be beautiful..dont know if you agree but thats my experience..

New pictures of my once pale fish. This is the middle of Week 3, and he is currently at 3.5 inches. From what I can see he will have potential to be even more red as the pink areas always seem to turn red. Thanks for viewing. He doesnt like pictures much so guess I'll update later next week.
