can you feed a gar with a small snake?hehe!

The thing about venom is that it can be consumed, no matter how poisonous the snake is. As long as there are no ulcers/flesh wounds for the venom to get into your bloodstream, anywhere from the inside of your mouth to your tongue to your stomach cavity, you will not get poisoned. I'm thinking the same goes for fish. I'd feed it to the gar if i were you, just to get a closer look at feeding it something other than feeders, pellets and frozen stuff. gar wouldnt have an issue with it, but id be afraid the snake would bite it when the gar bit down. i dont know of the venom of the snake would affect a gar. hmmm

Depends on what kind of snake it is and since you say it's some sort of cobra, i don't know really. Venom affects different living things differently. But like i said earlier, i'd do it just for the "fun" of it.

i just caught a small brown snake.i don't know what species it is but i think it's venomous.i even think that it's a cobra.it's still small,only about 6inches long and about 2 matchsticks thick or fat.
anyways,can i feed it to my florida or gator gar?hehe!is it safe?my florida is 10inches and gator is a foot long.

if you are willing to risk killing your fish, go for it
if you have any common sense, don't do it.

I would use tongs and hold the snake by the head and dangle the tail in the water to see if the gars would go for it. If they do I would cut off the snakes head and feed the body to them.
